Arts Council Northeast and the City of Euless are pleased to welcome Havana NRG for a concert on January 13, 2014, at the Euless Public Library.
Havana NRG stands for the new rhythm generation. This highly-charged and energetic group is the creation of producers and creators, Mariela Suarez, Ivan Martinez, and Maiquel Romero, all hailing from Cuba. Havana NRG is definitely not your typical tropical orchestra. Havana NRG has managed to set their own trend by taking on major challenges and producing not only hot salsa-themed music but also very intense Cuban Timba, Merengue, Bachata, and a first time Mambo Rap titled, “Wrap the Mambo.”
Through the MasterWorks Series, Arts Council Northeast and the City of Euless present free performances on selected evenings throughout the year. The MasterWorks Series is designed to offer a variety of quality family entertainment to the community by utilizing the talent of local, regional, and national artists.
