DESCRIPTION:Scarborough Renaissance Festival celebrates its 45th season Apr
 il 4–May 25\, 2026\, in Waxahachie\, Texas (2511 FM 66\, approximately 30
  minutes south of downtown Dallas). The popular outdoor festival is open S
 aturdays\, Sundays and Memorial Day Monday from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. \n Visitors
  step into a re-created 16th-century English village filled with immersive
  entertainment for all ages\, including full-combat jousting\, birds of pr
 ey exhibitions\, live music and comedy\, interactive performances\, games
  of skill and human-powered rides. The event also features one of the nati
 on’s largest outdoor juried artisan marketplaces with more than 200 handcr
 afted shops. 2026 THEMED WEEKENDS \n April 4–5: Opening Weekend & Easter C
 elebration — Opening Day pageantry\, Easter Egg Stroll for children\, and
  a Renaissance-style Easter service on Sunday. Children 12 and under are a
 dmitted free opening weekend\; seniors 65+ receive a gate discount. \n Apr
 il 11–12: Artisan’s Showcase Weekend — A spotlight on Scarborough’s artisa
 n community with live demonstrations and more than 200 handcrafted shoppes

 ree on Mother’s Day Sunday. \n May 16–17: Legends of the Seas Weekend — Pi

 zzah! Memorial Day Weekend — Season finale featuring music\, celebration a
