Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter and producer David Foster and acclaimed singer, television and Broadway star Katharine McPhee will headline the fifth annual Rhapsody gala benefitting Turtle Creek Chorale at the Statler Hotel on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The evening will offer an opening reception, seated dinner, luxury live auction, and an exclusive concert by David Foster and Katharine McPhee.
This year’s chair for the event benefiting the Turtle Creek Chorale is Dr. Whitney Strauss. Funds raised will support the Chorale’s mission to entertain, educate, unite, and inspire through its musical, cultural, and educational programs. This year’s event is especially significant as 2025 marks 45 years since the organization’s establishment in Dallas, and is the the fifth Rhapsody gala, held at the same venue as the first Rhapsody at the Statler Hotel in 2019.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be performing at the 5th Annual Turtle Creek Chorale Benefit Gala: Rhapsody," says David and Katharine. “We have heard so much about the Chorale and are so very proud to be bringing our show to this community. We look forward to sharing great music with you. See you there!”
The powerhouse duo’s performance will be packed with David’s hits written for Chicago, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Michael Bublé, and more, along with Katharine’s biggest songs from American Idol, Smash, and Waitress.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating 45 years of the Chorale and five years of Rhapsody with an incredible performance by David Foster and Katharine McPhee,” Executive Director Dr. Dawson B. Taylor said. “This milestone season will showcase an exciting lineup of performances that reflect our rich history, and we look forward to sharing this journey with our community and seeing where this next chapter takes us.”
