Shawn McAnalley, a high school senior at Harmony Science Academy Euless, is a National Merit Scholar Semifinalist - one of thousands of students aiming for the $2500 scholarship. McAnalley was selected based on his PSAT results which was compared with other high school students in Texas. Within Euless, only three students including McAnalley had the honor of being semifinalist. Shawn spends his free time volunteering having spent last summer  at Sam's Place, a deaf orphanage in Kenya where he updated their technology and taught math to the children.
